gotten into little wooden builds from a local game store, they're so lovely and nice to work on. the little flowers are only $10 also which is great. my partner built the rose :) the little book nook in the corner has a little touch activated light! the line of those style ones is like $45 but man was it fun to work on. spent a whole afternoon working on it at my coffee table with my partner playing pokemon on the bed. had some snacks and a podcast and a frickin' lava lamp. it was a good afternoon. i wanna get the whole line of those also but i'm gonna have to spread them out since they're more expensive. i'll post the other ones when i get them too :)
been working on this last front panel. all that will be left after sewing that part on will be to add a neckline to lay the curled edges flat. then i can wear it! and that'll be exciting. right in time for summer lol. whatever that means it might be worn in by winter.
also that sad gray is supposed to be purple. i couldn't be bothered to get good lighting. i will for the final pictures though, take it upstairs where there's good natural lighting and a big flat surface to lay it all out. anyway have another bad photo.
so i have this kinda weird shawl/sweater that i've been knitting off and on for like two years, mostly off cuz i've been busy with other things and i did accidentally spoil myself working with natural fibers where as this is acrylic yarn from before. it's not really based on a pattern cuz i wanted something very specific and weird. it's like a shawl mixed with a sweater. kind of like if you took a poncho and sewed the sides up except for an arm hole. or if you made a sweater but only the front and back panels and no sleeves. the back panel took forever and that's probably one of the reasons it's taken me so long to work on. the width is from about elbow to elbow instead of just shoulder to shoulder. but last night i finished one of the front panels and sewed it together and it's starting to feel like something instead of just a mass of knit fabric with no purpose.
still have the other front panel to go and then the interior edgeing from one front panel, around the neck, and down the other front panel. but since i finally finished one i have more confidence to actually get to that second one.
enjoy this unhelpful photo cuz i haven't taken it upstairs where i have floor space for a spread.

finished the main set up for my shrine for my babygirl protector. still gotta add more pictures and i'd love to find some cute little graphics in there but the bones of it are done. if you read it, please enjoy the nonsense! feel free to send me question to my profile, i don't have a comment section seperate from that yet. i've got plans for my current oc cordelia and then the man the myth the legend cardinal copia, who will share his page with another oc named credence who i made with the sole purpose of kissing that cardinal. at least i have a good base/idea for how to do the others now that i fucked around with protectors for so long! the others will come soon i hope. probably over the next few weeks :)
don't know how i'm gonna organize this page, maybe with tags once i learn how to do that, but i figure i should start putting shit on it at some point.
so i'm trying to build some shrines cuz i really want this place to be all about the things i like and make and no need to be cool for likes or reblogs or reskeets yes i wish people called them skeets more often cuz bsky isn't twitter. BUT it's going okay so far. i have the bones laid out in my editor for how to get there with the nav and some stuff organized into rows and columns. we're starting with my babygirl, my dnd oc protector. we're just slapdash rearranging shit however i think looks good at the time. we're making rows and columns at whim. i gotta find some cute little aesthetic images to put in there somewhere so it's not just boxes and pictures. but whatever, we're getting there. here's a little sneak peek! hopefully tomorrow or sometime later this week i'll have at least one of them up.
